Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 April 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an organisation, and Juicifier regarding your access to and use of juicifier.art, the authenticated web app, the API, and related services.
By accessing the service, creating an account, uploading an image, using the API, purchasing a subscription or token pack, or otherwise using Juicifier, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
1. Operator and Contact
Juicifier is operated as the service available at juicifier.art. For support, billing, account, copyright, privacy, or legal questions, contact postmaster@juicifier.art.
If you require formal operator details for a contract, invoice, notice, or data protection request, contact us before relying on the service for business-critical or regulated use.
2. Our Service
Juicifier provides image finishing tools. Users upload an image, choose available base sets and processing options, and receive processed output images. The service may be accessed through the graphical web interface or through authenticated API endpoints.
Juicifier is intended for lawful creative, editorial, internal business, and personal image finishing workflows. It is not designed for regulated medical, financial, legal, law-enforcement, biometric identification, or safety-critical use.
Features, model behaviour, processing infrastructure, queue behaviour, pricing, token costs, limits, workflows, and availability may change over time. Some features may be experimental, capacity-limited, delayed, disabled, or available only to paid accounts.
3. Eligibility and User Representations
By using Juicifier, you represent and warrant that:
- all registration and billing information you provide is accurate, current, and complete;
- you have legal capacity to agree to these terms;
- you are not a minor in the jurisdiction where you reside;
- you will not use the service for illegal, deceptive, harmful, or unauthorised purposes;
- you have all rights and permissions needed to upload and process each image you submit;
- your use of the service will comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you.
If information you provide is false, inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or creates legal or operational risk, we may suspend or terminate your access.
4. Account Registration and Security
You may need to create an account and verify your email address before using parts of the service. You are responsible for keeping your password, login session, and API token confidential.
You are responsible for all activity under your account unless the activity resulted from a security failure caused by Juicifier. Notify us promptly if you believe your account, password, session, or API token has been compromised.
We may apply email verification, CSRF protection, rate limits, abuse checks, token checks, API authentication, or other security measures to protect the service and other users.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Juicifier and its software, source code, design, interface, text, graphics, workflows, documentation, service names, logos, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the service for your personal, creative, or internal business purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or create derivative services from Juicifier or its protected materials except where these terms allow it or where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
6. Your Images, Outputs, and Feedback
You retain any rights you have in images you upload and in resulting output files. You grant Juicifier a limited licence to host, copy, process, transform, transmit, display, store, and make available your uploaded images and generated outputs only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for the images you upload, the prompts or settings you choose, and how you use or publish any output. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded images or generated output merely because they were processed through Juicifier.
If you send us comments, ideas, bug reports, suggestions, or other feedback, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, but you do not transfer ownership of your private images by doing so.
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Juicifier to create, process, distribute, automate, or support:
- illegal content or activity;
- sexual content involving minors or any non-consensual intimate imagery;
- harassment, stalking, doxxing, threats, or targeted abuse;
- fraud, phishing, impersonation, deceptive misrepresentation, or identity abuse;
- malware, credential theft, spam, or attempts to compromise systems;
- copyright infringement, rights circumvention, or unauthorised commercial exploitation of third-party content;
- attempts to bypass token checks, rate limits, payment checks, API authentication, or security controls;
- activity that overloads, disrupts, reverse engineers, scrapes, probes, or interferes with the service or its infrastructure.
We may refuse or remove content, disable jobs, revoke API tokens, throttle usage, suspend accounts, or contact relevant authorities where we reasonably believe a use creates legal, safety, security, operational, payment, or abuse risk.
8. Service Management
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor the service for violations of these terms; investigate suspicious usage; remove or restrict access to content; limit files or jobs that are too large or too costly to process; and manage the service in a way that protects our systems, users, providers, and legal obligations.
We may update, modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We are not obligated to maintain any particular feature, model, workflow, price, provider, or processing result indefinitely.
9. Subscriptions, Tokens, and Billing
Juicifier may offer a free tier, paid subscriptions, and one-time token packs. Tokens are usage credits for processing images. Token costs are shown in the app and may vary by workflow, mode, and options.
Paid subscriptions and token packs are handled through Polar. Polar may process checkout, payment details, invoices, taxes, refunds, payment disputes, and billing portal access under its own terms and privacy notices. Juicifier does not store full payment card details.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. Subscription tokens are intended for the relevant billing period and may be subject to plan limits. Token packs may require an active paid subscription.
We may correct balances, subscriptions, entitlements, or access if a billing event, webhook, refund, chargeback, discount, test checkout, payment failure, or technical error is processed incorrectly.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal where available. Cancellation normally prevents future renewals, while access may continue until the end of the already paid period unless stated otherwise by the billing provider.
Unless required by applicable law, cancellation does not automatically create a refund for past charges, used tokens, partially used billing periods, or token packs already delivered.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, email postmaster@juicifier.art with your account email, order details, and the reason for the request. Refund eligibility may depend on Polar, payment status, local consumer law, abuse checks, usage, chargebacks, and whether the service was already consumed.
11. Electronic Communications
By using Juicifier, you consent to receive service-related electronic communications, including account emails, verification emails, password or access messages, billing messages, security notices, support replies, and updates to legal terms.
Service-related communications are necessary to operate the service. If we send optional marketing communications in the future, you will be able to opt out where required by law.
12. Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content available through Juicifier infringes your copyright or other rights, contact postmaster@juicifier.art with enough information for us to identify the material, understand your claim, and contact you.
Please include your name, contact details, a description of the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, a statement that you believe the use is unauthorised, and a statement that the information you provide is accurate. Knowingly false claims may create legal liability.
13. User Data and Backups
We store data needed to provide the service, including account data, uploaded images, generated results, job history, token balances, subscription status, API token metadata, logs, and billing-related events. Our processing of personal data is described in the GDPR and Privacy page.
Although we may operate backups and retention systems, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of images and outputs that are important to you. We do not guarantee that any uploaded image, generated output, account history, or job result will remain available indefinitely.
14. Availability, Errors, and Changes
Juicifier is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We try to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific queue times, GPU availability, specific model behaviour, exact visual outcomes, or that every uploaded image will produce a usable result.
The service may contain errors, delays, bugs, inaccuracies, pricing mistakes, missing information, failed jobs, or temporary outages. We may correct errors, change information, adjust prices, modify features, or suspend service access without prior notice where necessary.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Juicifier and the people acting on its behalf are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or business-loss damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, reputational harm, production delays, or loss of opportunity.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Juicifier for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability, or EUR 50 if no paid amount exists.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights, intentional misconduct, or other non-waivable rights under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Juicifier from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your uploaded content, your use of outputs, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person's rights.
17. Term and Termination
These terms remain in effect while you use the service. You may stop using Juicifier at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or API access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, failed to pay, caused chargebacks, created abuse risk, or exposed the service to legal, security, or operational risk.
After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply, including intellectual property, payment obligations, prohibited use, limitation of liability, indemnity, and data retention provisions.
18. Governing Law and Local Requirements
You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you in your location. The service is not intended for access or use where doing so would violate applicable law or require us to register in a jurisdiction where we have not done so.
Mandatory consumer protection, data protection, and other non-waivable rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
19. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice through the app, website, or email if a change materially affects your rights or obligations.
Your continued use of the service after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
